HOW WATER INTAKE CAN TRANSFORM YOUR HEALTH

Lots of researches have gone into the health benefits of water intake. Water is a very essential part of life, in fact, the human body is about 60% water.

Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) did some findings on the daily water take among U.S. men and women between 2009 – 2012. Click the link above to see the results. Water intake is very important for a normal human growth.

Let’s take a look at six (6) major ways water intake can transform your health, positively.

1. IMPROVEMENT IN ENERGY LEVEL

Let me share a personal experience. Recently, I’ve been going through a lot of stressful activities which get me really dehydrated. I realized that I then get very tired when I’m dehydrated. But as soon as I take a considerable amount of water, my energy level gets increased, I become much more active and stronger than I was before taking the water. So, water intake keeps our muscles organized and keeps us active.

2. REGULATION OF BODY TEMPERATURE

The best and safest way to keep the body cool (especially in a hot weather) or to keep the body warm (in a cold weather), is to take the water temperature that can counter the feeling the weather gives. So, taking water can perfectly help to regulate the body temperature. In fact, I noticed that nothing is as satisfying and refreshing than a bottle of cold water in a hot weather.

3. RELIEVES CONSTIPATION AND AIDS PROPER DIGESTION

Constipation is a condition in which bowel movement becomes less frequent, and this then makes passing stool become difficult. This can cause a lot of discomfort. Taking abundant amount of water will relieve this discomfort. Also, taking enough water after eating will aid quick and smooth food digestion.

4. SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT IN BRAIN FUNCTION

Water makes up about 75% of the brain. So, it is highly essential to take enough water. Even a slight dip in water level or water supply to the brain can cause adverse effects. So, taking quantity water can help in the transport of oxygen and blood to the brain and therefore improve brain function, improves the mood and even reduces headache. 8 to 15 cups daily is a good range.

5. MAY HELP PREVENT KIDNEY STONES

The more frequent you have concentrated urine, the more likely it is for you to have kidney stones. The best way to excrete toxins, minerals and calcium in the urine is to take in a lot of water. This will dissolve many of these minerals and make the urine clearer, thereby reducing the possibility of kidney stones.

6. IMPROVEMENT IN SKIN HEALTH

It has been proven that taking sufficient water can help your skin glow. It can reduce acne, prevent wrinkles, maintain pH balance, improve gut health (which ensures healthy skin), improve skin elasticity, and so on. Water is life. It’s the best way to transform your health, alongside other medications. Men are advised to take about 3.7 litres daily while women are advised to take about 2.7 litres daily. Don’t wait to be thirsty before you drink water, carry a bottle of water wherever you go, intentionally monitor your water intake, and watch your health get transformed.
