Having heard and seen a lot of ideologies and mindsets as touching the issue of fitness, I deemed it necessary to reshape our mindsets on this very important issues.
What Fitness Is And What Fitness Is Not.
Fitness is the result of subjecting yourself to healthy lifestyles, such as healthy eating, exercising, meditation, adequate rest, taking plenty of water, etc.
Fitness can be defined as the state of perfect health and well-being, and the ability to perform daily activities optimally, engaging in sporting activities and being mentally healthy.
To be physically fit, you must have: muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and a perfect body composition. They’re called the components of physical fitness. Click here to read and understand more.
On the other hand. What isn’t fitness? Fitness is not: “I’m not fat”, “I have bulky muscles”, “I’m not overly slim”, “I don’t have belly fat”, “I can run, so I’m fit.”
You may have a perfect stature and still not be fit. You may have a great body shape and still not be adequately fit. Physical fitness isn’t restricted to one area. It has to cover the five components of physical fitness like I stated above.

The issue most people have with fitness is starting. Not even fitness alone, anything in life, many people have issues starting. So, it’s very important to find that spark, find that motivation to start.
I always tell my clients, as soon as you get the urge to begin your fitness journey, start immediately. Don’t waste time. As soon as you notice the spark, fuel it. If you’re not getting any motivation at all, find the inadequacy in you (as touching fitness), check for people who have overcome that challenge, and let them motivate you.
