Well, salvation has come. Lol. I’ve done my researches and I dare say that I’ve found the most common factors that kill your weight gain.

I always advise people who really want to gain weight not to be so desperate to the point that they start taking unhealthy measures to gain weight such as feeding excessively on sugary foods and drinks like soda, pastries, junks, processed foods, unhealthy supplements and all sorts of unhealthy stuff. GENETICS

Genetics is the scientific study of genes and heredity. Your genes; what you inherited from your parents greatly determine your general body outlook. Take calorie-densed meals, take protein shakes (especially if you want to grow muscles), take weight gain smoothies, take sufficient macronutrients (carbs, proteins, and fats & oil), take veggies, take fruits (e.g. bananas, dried fruits etc.), and other healthy meals that can help you gain healthy weight. DOING TOO MUCH CARDIO

One of these benefits is rapid weight loss. So, if you’re aiming to gain weight, excess cardio is not a good choice for you. Cardio exercises such as running, jogging, brisk walking (especially long distances), using the treadmill and any other exercise that gets your heart beating very fast will help lose weight very fast. These exercises aren’t bad if done from time to time, but doing them excessively might kill your weight gain.

Do more of HIIT or strength training, it’ll help you grow bigger.

UNDERLYING MEDICAL CONDITIONS

Many medical conditions cause unexplained weight loss. These medical conditions will stop you from gaining weight, no matter how hard you try. Examples are: diabetes, cancer, hyperthyroidism, HIV, tuberculosis, severe malaria, severe typhoid fever, depression and anxiety, and many other medical conditions can kill your weight gain.
